Project Team
Against the backdrop of Uzbekistan’s growing demand for energy resources—particularly liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), the shortage of which becomes especially evident during the autumn–winter period—the entry of a new market player becomes not merely an entrepreneurial initiative but a factor of national energy stability. It was precisely such a project that the PraeLegal Uzbekistan team supported, providing the client with a solid legal foundation for confidently entering one of the key sectors of the country’s economic security.
The project carried strategic significance: the successful organization of LPG supplies expanded the available volume of energy resources, contributing to the stabilization of the domestic market and improving fuel quality for both industrial and household consumers. To ensure the reliability and legitimacy of all operations, it was necessary to build a comprehensive and protected legal framework that would cover every stage of the new market participant’s activities.
Under the leadership of founder and partner Irina Kim, together with Jakhongir Ismatov, Head of the LPO Department, and junior lawyer Zukhra Abdurashidova, the PraeLegal Uzbekistan team provided full-scope project support—from preparing the foreign economic contract and legally structuring import supplies to overseeing all procedures related to storage, importation, logistics, and further distribution of LPG within the Republic of Uzbekistan. A key element of the work was ensuring strict compliance with customs, technical, and environmental regulations, as well as creating transparent contractual mechanisms that guarantee the safety, documentary integrity, and sustainability of all operations.
As a result of the work carried out, the client successfully entered the LPG market, becoming a full-fledged participant in an industry that plays a central role in the country’s energy balance.
