Uzbek Law Day – Paris 2025 became an important international event, held on 21 November 2025 at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in France. The event brought together leading lawyers and experts from Uzbekistan, France, and other countries to discuss modern legal trends, exchange experience, and strengthen professional connections among jurists from different legal systems.
The special value of hosting Uzbek Law Day in Paris lies in the opportunity to study the interaction between Uzbekistan’s legislation and European legal norms. This allowed participants to discuss the adaptation of Uzbek legal institutions to international standards, the practical application of European rules in cross-border transactions and dispute-resolution mechanisms, as well as to deepen understanding of how joint initiatives can enhance investment attractiveness and support business development.
Uzbek Law Day – Paris 2025 once again confirmed its unique role as a platform for knowledge exchange, building professional networks, and fostering bilateral dialogue between the legal communities of Uzbekistan and Europe. We are pleased to note that participation in this event became another step in the ongoing series of Uzbek Law Day meetings, opening new horizons for cooperation and strengthening international legal ties.

Special attention was given to comparing the legal systems of Uzbekistan and the EU: participants highlighted how common principles of international law and European judicial practice can be adapted within Uzbekistan’s legal framework, as well as the unique features of national regulations that require tailored approaches.
During the event, the Euro-Uzbek Legal Association (UzEuro Law Association) was presented — an initiative focused on developing cooperation between legal professionals from Uzbekistan and European countries. Its launch became a logical continuation of efforts to expand international dialogue: the Association creates a platform where experts can exchange practical experience, discuss modern legal approaches, and develop joint initiatives.
A key aspect of the Association’s mission is fostering interaction with European legislation: it helps deepen understanding of the principles of European law, study its practical application in investment and commercial transactions, and establish effective dispute-resolution mechanisms. Such collaboration opens new horizons for joint initiatives and strengthens professional ties, forming the foundation for long-term development of international legal cooperation.
Uzbek Law Day – Paris 2025 demonstrated how integrating Uzbek legal practice with European standards opens new opportunities for business, enhances the country’s investment attractiveness, and builds a sustainable platform for the development of international legal cooperation.
