Davranbek Ahmatov is a managing partner and a qualified expert on litigation in PraeLegal Uzbekistan. He has been providing legal advice and support to both local and international clients for 10 years. His extensive practice areas include litigation, enforcement of judicial judgments and foreclosures, and property development. Alternative dispute resolution is another area of expertise of Davranbek, because of which he was involved in the project of the law ‘On International Commercial Arbitration’ of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Davranbek Ahmatov was an acting deputy chairman in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. Moreover, he was the director of International Affairs in the Institute for Monitoring of Current Legislation under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In 2018 Davranbek Ahmatov attended the 53rd Session of the Working Group V on Insolvency Law of United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL), held in New York.

Irina Kim is a partner and an experienced lawyer of PraeLegal Uzbekistan. She has been directing corporate clients in Uzbekistan since 2009. She has gained experience in corporate banking by working at Korean Development Bank Uzbekistan and also in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Feruza Bobokulova

Feruza Bobokulova is a lawyer specializing in international commercial law, English law as well as in dispute resolution, particularly, international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution. Not long after joining PraeLegal Uzbekistan as a counsel to assist in international arbitration case, she became a full member of the Firm. As the head of Arbitration and ADR Department, she is responsible for all litigation and arbitration cases conducted beyond Uzbekistan as well as for other projects and affairs conducted by PraeLegal Uzbekistan.

Currently, Feruza Bobokulova also occupies the position of a lecturer at Westminster International University in Tashkent. She also coaches the university team, which annually participates in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot that takes place in Vienna, Austria.

On June 21, 2018 Feruza Bobokulova was appointed as the member of International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce by the World Council of the ICC. She is the first member ever appointed from Uzbekistan in addition to being the youngest Court Member among all other members appointed to the Court so far. Feruza Bobokulova also occupies the position of a member of ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.

Moreover, she is actively engaged in research and to date, has published numerous articles in local and international journals.

Doniyor Pulatov is a lawyer with an extensive experience in the field of legal services. He was a Senior Inspector of the Center for Advanced Training of Prosecutors and Investigators in the Office of the Procurator of the Republic of Uzbekistan. His background also includes serving as a judge for several years in Civil Court of Yakassaray district of Tashkent city and working as a senior adviser at the Tashkent City Civil Court. He has considerable experience in recognizing the validity of contracts, division of hereditary property, divorce proceedings, recovery of moral and material harm and others.

Yuliya Nasibyan

Yuliya Nasibyan is a lawyer in PraeLegal Uzbekistan specializing in Criminal, Civil and Economic Law. Yuliya Nasibyan received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Tashkent State Law University. Y. Firdavs Kabilov

Firdavs Kabilov is the head of Sports Law Department of PraeLegal Uzbekistan. He is one of the first sports lawyers in Uzbekistan and has the expertise in representing high profile individuals, teams and regulators within the sports industry. The team in his practice area offers a full range of contentious and non-contentious legal services for athletes and sports governing bodies, clubs, leagues, and sports equipment manufacturers, meaning that all legal requirements can be managed by one high-performing and discreet team of lawyers who are as passionate about sports as they are about the law. Complex litigations, negotiations, and arbitrations may involve contracts, intellectual property, competition, sponsorship and media rights and international issues.

Outside legal practice, Firdavs Kabilov teaches English contract law and comparative sales law at Westminster International University in Tashkent, where he previously led the Commercial Law Programme. He has also advised leading international organizations and the governments on investment, environment and development related topics. Educated in Scotland, F. Alexandra Kim

Career of Alexandra Kim in “PraeLegal Uzbekistan” has begun as a paralegal. Due to her extensive knowledge and skills in the field of economic and labour law, as well as the high sense of responsibility with which she proceeded to each task, just a few months later, Alexandra became the Head of the Corporate law Department.

Upon successful completion of the bachelor degree of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in the field of “international law”, she was in a group of volunteers in Legal clinic of the University, providing legal assistance to the low-income population stratum. Due to extensive practice in her student years, Alexandra has gained valuable experience in various fields of law, which she successfully applies in practice.
