English Law Day 2026 became one of the key professional platforms within the framework of Uzbek Arbitration Week, bringing together leading lawyers, arbitrators, members of the judiciary, representatives of academia, businesses, and international law firms from Uzbekistan, England and Wales, as well as other jurisdictions.
English Law Day 2026 was organized by the British–Uzbek Law Association (BrULA), the Tashkent International Arbitration Centre (TIAC), PraeLegal Uzbekistan, the British Embassy in Tashkent, and the Lawday platform.
The programme featured practical discussions and interactive sessions on the following topics:
• Recent developments in English law and dispute resolution in Uzbekistan: courts, enforcement of judgments, and institutional reforms
• Practical workshop: conducting litigation in the common law system
• Practical case study: cross-border disputes and sanctions-related issues
• Qualification as an English solicitor: pathways to qualification and professional opportunities
