Project Team
A project for the modernization and management of one of Uzbekistan’s key airports under a public-private partnership (PPP) framework marks a significant step in the development of the country’s aviation infrastructure. Airports have traditionally been strategic assets under state control, making this project a unique and landmark initiative.
With investments exceeding USD 140 million and the participation of three jurisdictions—Uzbekistan, the United Kingdom, and China—the project paves the way for international cooperation and the attraction of private investments into the aviation sector.
Our team served as the lead legal advisor, ensuring a well-balanced risk allocation between parties, a carefully structured deal framework, and effective contract management.
The project was led by former Partner Anvar Ikramov, supported by Junior partner Sardor Kosimov, ensuring a high level of legal expertise and professionalism.
This initiative not only strengthens Uzbekistan’s position as a transportation hub but also sets a new benchmark for public-private partnerships, unlocking opportunities for the further growth and development of the aviation industry.
