The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan adopted Resolution No. 415 dated July 29, 2026, approving a list of foreign states that ensure an equivalent level of personal data protection. The document was adopted pursuant to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Personal Data” and establishes new rules for the cross-border transfer of personal data.

On April 21, 2026, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-1137 “On Limited Liability Companies,” which entered into force on July 22, 2026. The new Law replaces the legislation that had been in effect since 2001 and significantly modernizes the regulation of limited liability companies.

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan has approved Resolution No. 136 dated March 3, 2025, which changes the procedure for leasing land plots.

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan has introduced changes to the use of corporate bank cards (CBCs). According to the Board’s resolution (reg. MJ No. 3294-2 dated March 13, 2025), legal entities are now allowed to pay for electricity and natural gas via mobile applications using corporate cards in the national currency.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan has approved Resolution No. 107 dated February 24, 2025, launching a new support program for entrepreneurs.

The President of Uzbekistan has signed Decree No. UP-41 dated March 4, 2025, aimed at increasing the efficiency of special economic and industrial zones.
